2012

Ranjini was handpicked among 35 entrepreneurs to be featured in 'DREAM to DESTINY', a book on The Driving Spirit of Chennai's Entrepreneurs, by TiE. TiE is a global network of entrepreneurs and professionals, established to foster entrepreneurship and nurture entrepreneurs.

2011

Ranjini authored Upworldly Mobile. The book was launched in Chennai and Delhi.

Ranjini, was the dinner speaker, in the European Manufacturing Executive Round Table, held in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart Germany, where she had the opportunity to speak about "Understanding India".

Global Adjustments published StopOver Chennai - a coffee table book, that is freely distributed by Global Adjustments all over the city.

India Immersion Center offered the flagship workshop of 'Taste of India' to the President of Northwestern University (Morton Schapiro)

India Immersion Centre and Ericsson sponsored a Greening India Campaign among Chennai schools initiated by Ericsson India Private limited.

Ranjini was chosen By India Today as the 13 Business Wizards of Tamil Nadu Women.

2010

Ranjini co-authored a chapter with Darla Deardoff of Duke University in the Institute of International Education New York's book, International India: A Turning Point in Educational Exchange with the U.S.

Along with Padmashri Aruna Sairam, Global Adjustments conceptualised a national integration musical journey of India. Rendered for the first time as "Ode to Indira" at Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's 25th death anniversary for the Prime Minister, Shrimati Sonia Gandhi, and Union Ministers in multiple languages. Ran the program as a full-fledged musi-cultural journey adding narration and visual effects in a concert to packed houses as a fundraiser for retiring musicians titled "Aikya India".

2009

Ranjini appointed Executive Committee Member on the Women's Leadership Board

Ranjini co-authored a chapter in the Sage Handbook of Intercultural Competence.

Global Adjustments re-launched Global Indian instructor-led programs as 'Indian Roots, Global Wings' encompassing key subjects such as leadership, gender balance and diversity.

2008

Ranjini selected as the only Indian on the Women's Leadership Board at Harvard University

Global Adjustments won the Confederation of Indian Industries 'Achievers of Chennai' Award.

Established the India Immersion Centre, a destination where cultures meet and a place to gain a true understanding of Indian culture via various programs, including the flagship immersion workshop of 'Taste of India'.

2007

Global Adjustments launched India's free cross-cultural e-learning portal for 21st-century youth, www.globalindian.com, accompanied by a series of lecture tours speaking at IIMs, ISB, MBA schools and Engineering colleges to inspire India's youth to become Global Indians.

Ranjini co-chaired the world-wide Employee Relocation Council's Global Workforce Symposium and received the ERC Meritorious Service Award.

Started business columns for new Indian managers to reinforce behavioural skills with business skills in leading dailies (soon to be released as a likely college text book by Penguin).

Ranjini was handpicked to be featured in the Confederation of Indian Industries Book – 'Star Trek 101 Entrepreneurs'.

2006

Ranjini authored Doing Business in India for Dummies.

Global Adjustments chosen as one of the 'top ten cool companies' of India by Business Today magazine.

Opened branches in Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata

2000

Branch office in New Delhi established

Global Adjustments started running training programs on International Etiquette and Cross-cultural Understanding for the Indian workforce, especially in the IT field.

1997

Global Adjustments held its first Beautiful India Expatriate Photo Competition to promote understanding and interpretations of India through the visitor's lens. The competition is now held annually in three cities in India, creating a collection of 10,000 and more stunning images.

1996

1995

Ranjini Manian established Global Adjustments Pvt Ltd in Chennai (then Madras), South India, with Joanne Grady Huskey, US Diplomatic spouse, former Director, Very Special Arts of Kennedy Center and Foundation.
