I just want to drop you a note and thank you for the Indian Cultural awareness training I received a few months back. Whist running a training session in the US last week, I had an Indian gentleman in the class who was not quite fitting in with the rest. But remembering that cricket was a great topic and the everyone loved Dhoni (sp?), and having just followed the final of the world cup, I was able to break the ice and talk to him about cricket and Dhoni's winning 6 and help him to fit in a lot better. Pam and I had a very productive and satisfying five-day visit to Bangalore. Global Adjustments clearly devoted significant time and resources to our visit and the results showed this. We left Bangalore having committed to renting a property which we were very pleased with, enrolled our children into the Canadian International School, and chose white goods and some furniture for the apartment. Overall we achieved a great deal of progress in a short period of time and were very comfortable with the advice and guidance. Our India fears are stilled now. Find out how we can help you.

It has been a great comfort for me and my family to work with a professional company like Global Adjustments during the uncertain times of moving from Sweden to Chennai, where everything is new to us. We were very well taken care of during our search for housing and schools for our kids and I was able to be productive in my job right away thanks to this.

Jonas Heiman, The Elof Hansson Group, Sweden

Your company has been very helpful since the beginning, not only with finding a house but working out all the details. Find out how we can help you.

Jennifer and Ted Green, Caterpillar, USA

When we decided to move to Chennai from Dallas, Texas, there were a lot of mixed feelings in the household. Since we are originally from India, going back as expats was bit of a dream come true. We would have a chance to see India and, the kids who were born overseas, would know what it is to be an Indian. Some trepidation also as Chennai was "foreign" to us, being from Punjab. We need not have worried. Global Adjustments team was there for us from day one and has shown us the city light, so to speak, ever since. We like to think of them as our Google for Chennai. Navjit Brar, Fujitsu India, USA

The orientation was great. I wish I had this immersion earlier in my visit!

Lamont Lucas, business delegate of Tata Consultancy Services, USA

This session was so important to have a better knowledge of the Indian culture to avoid any misunderstandings.

Jorge Buseño, HR Coordinator, Prolec GE, Mexico

What I learned from this program will be very helpful to my life and work abroad – a concentrated afternoon. I would recommend the immersion programme to others in my company.

Very helpful in explaining with Indian colleagues their thought process and reasons for behaving the way they did.

Murtaza Khan, Management Officer, British Deputy High Commission, Chennai, India

We thank your Design Store department for the creative help in generating and designing the IAL Mission, Vision and Value Statements in a professional way, the outcome of which has been appreciated in a great manner in our company.
Mr. Kevin Thorpe, IAL, Oronite, USA

We had a very good time at the Bollywood dance class, yoga sessions, language lessons and cookery class and learnt a lot of things about India. [Due to] the cookery class, we like Indian foods better than before. We will surely come back again and take another class on something in Indian life.
Hiromi Ashibe, Nissan spouse, cooking class participant at the India Immersion Center program for Supporting Spouses, Japan

Everyone really seems like they love their role as an end-to-end expatriate solutions company here. Great job!

I have become an effective Global Indian after the combined e-learning program and hands-on sessions and it has greatly helped my job in HR at Amazon and Trimble.

The sessions were relevant to our jobs and made us appreciate the verbal and non-verbal communication of Indians.
David Peterson, participant in the Immersion workshop for all US Consulate Visa Officers, US Consular Office, Chennai

The Western Behavioural Skills sessions on topics such as formal dressing, networking at a conference, dining skills, conversational styles and more were good for us to absorb as our bank sends us on seminars to Scotland where business is conducted with formality, and we can interact with confidence now.

    VP, Royal Bank of Scotland

As an Indian woman professional I had a lot of fears and questions about how to work with my overseas clients using phone and email once I returned from the client site visit. The Global Adjustments program in Diversity and Communicating with Confidence helped me become 50% better than I was. I know this because my clients tell me they see the change in me.

    Parameswari, HCL Technologies

The Annual Photo Competition was a highlight of our year! It was always in the back of our minds when travelling and taking photographs, and we loved seeing all the other entrants' visions of 'Beautiful India'. We encouraged our visitors to participate, too, and my father won a prize one year – he was delighted!

    Suzanne McNeill, UK
